Nice store. Good selection of plants. This is a great backyard plants. This is the store if you want advice or help. The people here know their stuff. They even have an advice help kiosk in the middle of the garden area.During the holidays they have a great Christmas set up with ornaments and trees as well as Christmas town sets.

This is my favorite nursery. They are very knowledgable and friendly. The plants here are also very well taken care of with a large selection. Highly recommend this place for your gardening needs.
They are always well stocked with vegetables. Always have an abundance of different types of lettuces, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, etc. The customer service and everyone that works there is also very well versed and as always available for any questions and concerns that might come up in the garden.. And if you're looking for indoor plants you can stop looking cuz they've got an entire area just dedicating to that.

Green Thumb is a great nursery. They carry a great variety that cycles a little with the season. The grounds are beautiful and very serene. Its a nice way to spend time just walking up and down the isles. The staff is always helpful, albeit busy. There is a lot to do and see. You can address most if not all garden needs at Green Thumb.
This nursery has so many beautiful indoor plants! Large selection! There is so much more to see, for sure one of my favorite nurseries
I can not recommend Green Thumb highly enough. The sales staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The plants are well cared for and nicely maintained. The greenhouse is my favorite type of "treasure chest".....I always find something new and interesting. The selection of bird feeders is substantial. Garden accessories, pots and decorative items are all very appealing. I believe the pricing is fair and in line with other similar establishments.It remains one of my favorite places to shop!
I visited on Mother’s Day to find native narrow-leaf milkweed and Dudleya, not the most common plants. I was helped by four different employees to locate those items, but left with both! Each employee was courteous and helpful. I will shop there again, even though there are several nurseries closer to my home.
Green Thumb always has a great variety of healthy, beautiful plants and flowers. Their staff is knowledgeable and always happy to answer even my most basic questions! It's my favorite place to shop!

Wonderful nursery with amazing selection of plants.In the Spring they have great garden veggie starts that are unique and fun to grow. If you are looking for something different or out of the ordinary their selection of perennials and trees has something for everyone. The prices are reasonable and the staff are helpful. The selection of plants is exceptional. I encourage anyone who loves gardening or plants in general to visit, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Green Thumb nursery in Lake Forest for decades! It definitely is my happy place! I think they must say “here she comes AGAIN “ when they see me coming.😂 The plants are always so healthy , the staff is s very friendly and helpful. Once when the cashier asked Patrick, he took a ceramic pot and caladium out of my 94 year old moms cart , disappeared with it and came back with it perfectly planted decorated with white rocks so she didn’t have to buy a bag of dirt! Above and beyond! 🌱🪴

My plants with the best longevity have all been from green thumb. I’m not the best plant caretaker, but by far out of anywhere I have purchased plants, theirs are the healthiest and stay healthy after taking them home. Also- their pots are the best selection I’ve seen! Super trendy and cool
We recently upended our backyard to put in a pool. Our entire yard needed landscaping. We searched around for deals and service and have always found ourselves coming back to green thumb! We really appreciated their landscape design offer and would recommend it for anyone who needs it. Spend $750 on a gift card and you get to meet with a designer for your project. The staff are friendly and helpful (if they’re not occupied by all the other customers) and the value is much better than we’ve seen at other nurseries. We always enjoy our visits!
I love this nursery so much. My family and I have been discovering plants here for years. The staff is so friendly and kind, and have encouraged me and my children to develop our green thumbs over the years! They love the pond, and they love the giant statues by the citrus trees. I buy plants for my home and my office and wouldn’t shop anywhere else.

I started shopping at Green Thumb 🪴🌹🌷🌻🌼🌵🪷🎍 nursery a couple years ago and found this an awesome place to shop. This is a family owned business and they decorate super cute for all the holidays. They have an abundance of plants and trees. I bought my Christmas tree there this year and it was amazing. The staff Camrin and Chris were so helpful in the garden area. In fact, all the employees there are super helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this nursery for anyone in the area.
Cashier was not very friendly at all and even questioned the coupon I gave her. She told me it was expired without even reading the printed date on the coupon. It was clearly NOT expired but insisted it was. Well in the end I was obviously right and she was wrong. Advice for management is to train your staff on customer service skills. Hadn't shopped there for years but my first experience retuning to the store for some plants was not good. There were plenty of other nurseries in the Lake Forest area and in south OC that I could have spent my money at.
Great place. Good assortment of plants and very helpful staff. The only reason it gets 4 stars is that it's a bit pricey.

Green Thumb Plant Nursery has become my local go-to neighborhood plant nursery and gardened supply store. My life as a plant parent and Gardner has thrived because of this store and business. Green Thumb has such a great selection of both usual and unusual plants, and their staff is super helpful and informative. I brought in a drawing of my small patio and what limitations I had with sunlight/time of day, and got a list of suggested plants that were all winners!I love even just visiting the store. The mantis, is enjoying the flowers from GT.
I've passed by this nursery for five years and am kicking myself for not visiting it sooner. It looks tiny from the I-5 or from El Toro, so I've been sleeping on Green Thumb (ha). However, when you enter the nursery--WOW, is it huge! It has so much variety in plants and definitely the ones that plant enthusiasts want. The pricing is great too!
